Pirate Gold Corp. (formerly Sokoman Minerals) embodies the spirit of treasure hunting in Newfoundland. We are focused on unlocking high-grade gold within our district-scale Treasure Island Project (78,600 ha), which was recently expanded along the prospective Valentine Lake Fault.

Newfoundland History

For centuries, Newfoundland's greatest treasure lay undiscovered, even as legendary pirates like "Black Bart" Roberts sailed its shores. While gold was first found in 1864 , the island's true potential remained hidden.
